The tour will consist of a combination of wildlife watching, local history, geology, and biology. We live on “mountain time” and this itinerary is only a loose description of how our day will go.
Our tour will start at 7 am where we will meet for a quick orientation and coffee after which we will load up and head to the hills for the tour. Currently I can only accommodate three adults and one child at a time.
The tours consist of mostly driving but we will step out for forays. We will spend the morning looking for Bighorn Sheep, Elk, Antelope, and Wolves as we work our way to the Green Fire Overlook where we will stop for a walk and discussion. We will work our way back to Alpine where we will have lunch. We will then head to Escudilla after which we will end our day in the mid afternoon.
We will meet at 33°51’57.6″N 109°10’12.5″W in the morning.
